With stormy weather often comes power outages, and that can sometimes leave your garage door stuck. Don’t get caught off guard! Here’s a quick tip from The Garage Door Guys:
💡 Power Outage Tip: If your power goes out and your garage door won’t open with the remote, you can manually open it! Simply pull the red emergency release cord (usually a red handle hanging from the opener trolley) to disengage the door from the opener. You can then lift and lower the door by hand. Just be sure to re-engage it once power is restored or you’re done using it manually.
